Five botanicals, nothing more. Juniper provides the aromatic structure that defines a fine gin. Blackcurrant ensures a full mouthfeel and an earthy, herbal note. Lemongrass provides the initial fresh nose, which is slightly reminiscent of green pears. Coriander leaf, always processed fresh, sets the top note. Orange peel unites everything into a whole.

The five are macerated for half a day in organic grain alcohol and then distilled. Certified organic. Distilled in the distillery, matured in the neighboring house of whiskey, gin & rum.

Im Gin Tonic mit einem trockenen Tonic, das die fünf Botanicals nicht zudeckt. Ein paar angedrückte Wacholderbeeren im Glas holen den Wacholder nach vorne.

Fünf: Wacholder für das Würzgerüst, schwarze Ribisel für Mundgefühl und eine erdig-herbale Note, Zitronengras für die frische Nase, Blattkoriander als Top-Note und Orangenschale, die alles verbindet. Mazeriert wird einen halben Tag in Bio-Getreidealkohol, danach wird gebrannt.

Ja. Gebrannt wird in der Manufaktur Gölles in Riegersburg, gereift und abgefüllt im house of whiskey, gin & rum. Bei den World Gin Awards 2018 wurde er als Best Austrian London Dry Gin ausgezeichnet.
