A true fruit liqueur consists of three things: a good distillate, the juice of fully ripened fruit, and a little sugar. We also add pieces of fruit.

For our apricot liqueur, we use our own apricot brandy as a base. No flavorings, no essences, no coloring. 17 percent.

Topped with sparkling wine, it makes an aperitif; it works just as well over ice or over vanilla ice cream.

Wir setzen ihn an: mit unserem eigenen Edelbrand, dem Saft vollreifer Früchte, wenig Zucker und vielen Fruchtstücken. Keine Aromastoffe, keine Essenz. Deshalb liegt er bei 17 Prozent und nicht bei 43.

Kühl und dunkel gelagert mehrere Monate. Weil Fruchtsaft und Fruchtstücke drin sind, gehört ein geöffneter Likör in den Kühlschrank, anders als ein Edelbrand.
