XA stands for extra old. What is remarkable about this vintage is that, despite its age, it has remained youthfully fresh and retains a lively finish. 43 percent alcohol, 700 milliliters, hand-numbered.

Extra alt. Diese Brände reifen weit über das üblich Maß hinaus, in Glasballons oder kleinen Holzfässern, und werden in einem eigens dafür gebauten Tresor verwahrt.

Weil es von jedem Jahrgang nur eine begrenzte Menge gibt und jede Flasche einem konkreten Jahr zugeordnet ist. Ist ein Jahrgang aus, kommt er nicht wieder.
