The heart cherry is love at second sight. Eaten raw, it is a good cherry; distilled, it becomes deep, warm, and spicy, and therefore something one would not expect from a cherry.

We use only dark heart cherries, harvested in July, and remove about 90 percent of the pits. It is double-distilled in copper stills, without sugar and without flavorings. 43 percent alcohol, no barrel aging.

What surprises many: there is more than just cherry in this spirit. It is darker and more complex than the fruit would suggest.

Rund 90 Prozent der Kerne nehmen wir heraus, ein kleiner Rest lässt sich nicht trennen. Deshalb steht in diesem Brand die Frucht im Vordergrund und nicht der Kern.

Nur dunkle Herzkirschen, geerntet im Juli. Helle Sorten bringen zu wenig mit, um nach dem Brennen noch erkennbar zu sein.
