The same fruit, two crafts.
The Williams pear brings its sweetness into the distillate almost unchanged. Hardly any distiller does without it, because few varieties transport their fruit into the glass so clearly.
For the balsamic vinegar, old perry pear varieties go into the barrel. They bring tannin with them and like to show their rough edges when raw. At least four years in an oak barrel turn this around, until round pear fruit with a soft core remains.
Both in a custom-made gift box with a precision-fit insert. A set for anyone who likes pears and doesn't yet know how far they go, and thus a gift that has a story to tell.
